Masika Bag

After a long period in Spain we return to the fray in our beloved Mombasa featuring our first Rums project of the year. Well, we have not been very original for the occasion and have sewn a bag.

The design is very simple, as you see is a rectangular bag with a pair of outer pockets and another two inside pockets, one for mobile, pen and one zippered more valuable things.
We used a black canvas fabric we brought from Spain and Kitenge Masika we have been used in other projects, combining both the exterior and the interior.

It is just inside zip pocket where we applied a technique that we had not done before. And although the seams around the zipper have not been very “clean” we are very happy with the result.

Hope you like it, now I’m taking a look to see what you have done in the Rums of this week.
See you in the next.
